Selank
Studied for stress, anxiety and sleep quality.
Selank came from the same Russian research programme as Semax and is used there for anxiety. What makes it interesting is the claim that it calms without sedating, and without the dependence associated with conventional anxiety medication.

This peptide is not FDA-approved for the uses described. Compounded medications are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality, and availability varies by state and by pharmacy. Everything below describes what this peptide is studied for. None of it is a claim of proven benefit.
How it works
Calms without sedating
It affects the same calming system in the brain that anxiety medications target, but through a gentler and less direct route.
Supports the body's own regulators
Research points to it preserving natural calming compounds your body already produces, rather than overriding them.
Affects mood and sleep
It appears to influence the brain chemistry involved in both, which is why better sleep is a commonly reported effect.
No dependence described
The central claim in the Russian research is calm without sedation, tolerance or withdrawal. That has not been tested in Western trials.
What the evidence says
Selank is approved in Russia for anxiety, with research published largely in Russian and not repeated elsewhere. It is not approved in the United States or Europe, and it is not a substitute for proper assessment or treatment of an anxiety disorder.
What to expect

Effects on everyday stress, where people notice them, tend to come fairly quickly.
- Weeks 1 to 4
